Start collecting pictures from magazines. Make a file and fill it with pages torn from designs you like. Interiors, Exteriors, Windows, Kitchens and Baths. Make a list of the most important items or functions you need in your house, an open kitchen, a mud room, a laundry area, an extra bath or a home office. Now make another list of all the things you'd wish to do to your house, an island kitchen, large picture windows, gas fireplace, large deck with a pergola, game room or a craft room. Then take your favorite pieces of furniture or rugs and we can start designing around them. The dimension of a family heirloom bookcase can establish the size of a wall or placement of a door. The color in a rug can be the start of a color theme. The trim on a cabinet can continue on the trim of the house. From there with the pictures you have collected, we can put together a design for you.
